From 01.10.2011 the project "Alpine - Carpathian Cooperation Bridge" is being implemented. It is co-financed by Switzerland within the Swiss programme and aims at cooperation with new EU member countries.
The project is implemented by two institutions which possess previous experience and capacity to manage European projects: the Association of Carpathian Euroregion Poland (Project Leader) and the Association for Development and Promotion of Podkarpacie "Pro Carpathia" (Project Partner).
The main idea of the project is to support the development of local entrepreneurship and agricultural processing through:
1. activation and promotion of producers, manufacturers of traditional, regional, local, organic and edible forest products;
2. international economic experience exchange among business organizations;
The project will introduce four types of Grant Funds which are distributed by:
1. Association of Carpathian Euroregion Poland (Project Leader)
- Local Export Promotion Fund designed for entrepreneurs;
- Study Tour Fund aimed at NGOs;
2. Association for Development and Promotion of Podkarpacie "Pro Carpathia" (Project Partner)- Regional, Traditional and Ecological Product Promotion Fund designed for entrepreneurs;
- Regional, Traditional and Ecological Product Promotion Fund designed for NGOs.
