Project Objectives

Short Description

The leader of this project was Regional Museum from Rzeszow, national partner: “Pro-Carpathia” Association, the foreign partner – Ukraine – specifically Lviv Historic Museum as well as Institute of Sciences of Ukraine of the National Science Academy, Archaeological Department. Main activities undertaken during the project: organization of sequence of exhibitions devoted to various topics, among others: “Art – European Heritage”, “Borderland Hunting Traditions”, “Archaeology – the roots” (with educational conference organized).

All exhibits presented during the exhibition and portraying the art of Wołyń and Podole area were property of Lviv Museum. The third project’s objective was devoted to West-European painting collection dated back to 16th and 17th centuries, and accumulated by Dąbski family.
