Employ yourself and others

"Employ yourself and others" is a project involving a series of comprehensive actions resulting from the needs of the regional job market, designed to actively support employment through the activation of new micro-enterprises and help in running and developing business in the first months of operation.

The main objective of this project is to actively support employment among residents of Subcarpathian Voivodeship. It is being implemented from 01st May 2010 to 31st January 2012.

Project target group is single people without jobs in age from 18 to 60/64 years old, living in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship and belonging to at least one of the groups:

• long-term unemployed;
• women;
• young people (from 18 to 34 years of age);
• people living in rural or urban-rural Communities or small towns (up to 25 000 residents);
• people who have completed 45 years of age;
• people dismissed from job for reasons not related to the employee.

80 people have been selected for the project. Final Beneficiaries of the project received the following forms of support:

• financial support for business development for 59 beneficiaries (max. of 40 000 PLN);
• bridge support for the first six months of business for 59 beneficiaries (1276 PLN/month/beneficiaries);
• bridge support extended for another six months of business for 25 beneficiaries (1276 PLN/month/beneficiaries);
• training in starting and running a business (48h/beneficiary);
• basic individual counseling in preparing applications and developing a Business Plan (4h/beneficiary);
• specialized training for the 59 beneficiaries, who founded the business and obtained financial support (24h/beneficiary);
• specialized individual counseling for 59 beneficiaries, who founded the business and obtained financial support (4h/BO).
